The Private Travel Company has signed up and committed to not selling and promoting cruel elephant tourism entertainment, such as rides and shows. We are committed to working with World Animal Protection to help transition the tourism industry towards an elephant-friendly future.

Along with World Animal Protection we recognise that change can't happen overnight. We hope many more travel companies join us and sign this commitment. There are other ways travellers can enjoy wildlife in their natural environment with hands-off tourism, and we have seen small companies in destinations like Thailand coming forward with hands-off viewing of wildlife.
