Seabourn Cruises - Penthouse Spa Suites

Seabourn are getting a great deal of interest in their Seabourn Penthouse Spa Suites currently on Seabourn Quest and Odyssey, and soon to be on Sojourn (November 2014). They are offering a really special experience and some great value add. There are only four of these suites (PS category) which are very spacious with 516 to 538 sq. ft. (48 – 50 sq. m.) of inside space, expansive private verandas of 172 sq. ft. (16 sq. m.) with views over the ship’s stern and the sea.

The new suites will offer guests a variety of healthy amenities and spa specialties. Along with the guests’ personal beverage preferences, a second in-suite bar will also be fully stocked with flavoured water and fruit juices, and a selection of mixed nuts, dried fruits and healthy snacks. Guests can choose a calming fragrance from a selection by L’Occitane, to be diffused throughout the suite during the evening turndown. Relaxing, soothing spa music will also be available as a background soundtrack in the suite.

Upon arrival, guests will be invited to select from a menu of luxurious bath sponges, as well as designer soaps by Hermes, L’Occitane, Baudelaire and Salvatore Ferragamo.

A Spa Concierge will assist guests booked in the Penthouse Spa Suites with reservations for their personalized treatment regimes throughout their stay on board (Treatments have charge as applicable). Guests will have complimentary daily access to the spa’s Serene Area, which features heated lounges, an aroma steam bath with salt inhalation, and a herbal bath. In the Serene Area aboard Seabourn Odyssey is a large hydro-pool, while Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn features a Kneipp Walk Pool, which provides holistic, water therapy treatment and healing remedies designed to enhance circulation.

Also, worth noting - the Standard balcony suites V1 – V6 are 300 sq ft, and the standard Penthouse on Seabourn is 436sq ft + veranda. These PS Penthouse “Spa” Suites are 516sq ft + Veranda, so the Spa suites are much larger and in a prime location on the ship with amazing views over the ocean.

As an indicator only - based on a standard Mediterranean 7 night cruise, you could expect an upgrade of US$1,000 per person from a Penthouse suite to Spa Penthouse, and from a V6 balcony suite to Spa Penthouse is US$2,500 per person. Of course, these prices are guidelines only and subject to change based on individual sailings and length of itineraries etc at the time of booking.
